The results of the implementation of the environmental programme of LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” in the 1st quarter of 2015

In January-March of 2015 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) transferred 323 thousand Rubles for the implementation of the environmental programmes which exceeds by 22% the indicators of the same period of the last year.  

Within the reporting period the company took measures aimed at the protection of water resources: monitored quality of natural water, performed regular checks of coastal area and treated waste water. 

In order to ensure safe handling of consumption and production wastes the company monitored regularly and removed wastes and controlled places for their temporary accumulation. 


Reference: LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in acceptance, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. Main cargo handled in MRC is export power coal. In 2014 the turnover of Multipurpose Reloading Complex amounted to 4 mln tons.
