MRC employees and their families enjoy a Vyborg trip

26 October 2021

Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC) operating in the Port of Ust-Luga in October organized for employees and their families an excursion trip to Vyborg. The trip was cosponsored in conjunction with the primary trade union organization of MRC, of the Russian Trade Union of Water Transport Workers (PRVT).

During the excursion the port workers were told about the history of Vyborg, visited the city main sights and walked through the Mon Repos park.  The culmination of the program was a master class on baking a pretzel, a traditional local sweets. The participants made pastries with their own hands according to an old recipe and tasted them with tea.

The excursion to Vyborg is the first employee getaway event organized by MRC as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility management programme of the new Collective Agreement 2021-2024.

“Last year we went to Kronstadt and Pushkin and, if the circumstances associated with COVID-19 restrictions permit, we would be willing to continue these trips, because this is a great opportunity to spend time with family and colleagues in such a friendly atmosphere,” said Maria Morozova, chairman of the primary trade union organization of MRC, PRVT.

Manpower care is the basis of the MRC corporate social responsibility policy. The company regularly provides its employees with financial support, compensates the costs of medical services, recreation and sports. In 2021, the company's employee benefits package was supplemented with VHI policies and free meals.
