Multipurpose Reloading Complex of Ust-Luga port increased its throughput by 6%

In the first half of 2019, Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC) operating at the port of Ust-Luga handled 2.7 million tonnes of cargo, up 6%, year-on-year.

Transshipment of power coal, the company's key cargo, grew by 8% to over 2.61 million tonnes while handling of petcoke fell by 26% to 59,000 tonnes.

Average daily handling of railcars totaled 202 units with the maximum result as high as 311 units. In the reporting period, the company handled 36,583 railcars and 67 vessels.
