Multipurpose Reloading Complex celebrates its 10th anniversary

On December 25, the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) hosted celebrations dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC).
Igor Feodorov, Advisor to the Leningrad Region Governor, and Victor Tolkachev, First Deputy to the Head of the Kingisepp District Administration, congratulated the company employees. The guests emphasized that MRC is a reliable and effective social partner in the city and in the region involved in new joint projects of the administration. Sergey Chelyadin, Managing Director of Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC, thanked the employees for a high level of professionalism thanks to which it was possible to achieve perfect production results and succeed in implementation of current investment projects.
Work achievements of the employees were marked by honorary certificates and awards from the Leningrad Region Governor and Kingisepp District Administration as well as golden and silver corporate signs. A total of 74 employees were awarded at the ceremony.
MRC activities began on 24 December 2008 when the company handled the first ship and transshipped 2,000 tonnes of imported piles. In 2017, the terminal’s throughput exceeded 5.5 million tonnes. With that annual result, Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC won the ‘Industry Leader’ competition of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency in the ‘Marine Stevedoring Company’ nomination and was also acknowledged as the best stevedore by the Association of Commercial Sea Ports.
Over a decade, MRC handled more than 30.6 million tonnes of cargo. The nearest plans of the company include a comprehensive development with a purpose to increase its production capacity to 8.2 million tonnes per year.
