The results of the environmental programme of the Multipurpose Reloading Complex

For 9 months of 2016 The Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) invested 1.4 million RUR in environmental protection.
Within this period the company completed the works on modernization and technical maintenance of waste treatment facilities and took several actions to protect water area including monitoring of natural water quality and control of water preserving zone.
The company also monitors atmospheric air quality at the boundary of sanitary protection area to protect it from any contamination. The results of the tests confirmed that air quality corresponds to the existing standards.
To ensure safe treatment of wastes from production and consumption MRC is registering them and removing from the territory on a regular basis and monitors safe storage of wastes at temporary accumulation places.
