In the first quarter of 2016 the Multipurpose Reloading Complex handled 986 thousand tonnes of cargo

In the first quarter of 2016 Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) handled 986 thousand tonnes of power plant coal – 4% less than for the same period of the last year. This is caused by the unfavourable situation in the external markets, which entails lower export volumes. However, this figure is 14.2% higher than planned value.

The average unloading rate at the terminal is 153 semi-wagons, the maximum rate is 299 semi-wagons a day. In total, MRC handled 13 953 semi-wagons and 21 transporting vessels.

LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in reception, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. Main cargo reloaded by the company is export power generating coal. In 2015 the turnover of LLC “MRC” amounted to 4.2 mln tons of cargo.
