Multipurpose Reloading Complex increased expenses for ecology

In January-March of 2016 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) transferred 349 thousand Rubles for the implementation of the environmental campaigns  which exceeds by 8%  the figure of the same period of the last year.

The increase of financing sums was caused by additional expenses for air monitoring and for measures aimed at protection of water resources. In particular MRC regularly monitored quality of natural waters, checked use of coastal area and treatment of waste water.

Besides in order to ensure safe handling of production and consumption wastes  MRC performed recording and removal of wastes  and controlled places of their temporary accumulation at the terminal.

LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in reception, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. Main cargo reloaded by the company is export power generating coal. In 2015 the turnover of LLC “MRC” amounted to 4.2 mln tons of cargo.
