The results of the implementation of development programme of “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” in 2015

In 2015 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) transferred 139.6 mln Rubles for the development of production capacities. Main part of funds was transferred for the purchase of new handling equipment within the implementation  of programme of technical re-equipment and development of port infrastructure.

Within the reporting period the company put into operation third new manipulator crane MANTSINEN 120R with bucket capacity of 5 m³ and lifting capacity up to 10.5 tons. MRC also purchased three new two-leaf grab buckets GH 16-9.5 with capacity of 9.5 m³ each were purchased. The use of new equipment will allow to increase speed of handling of railcars at the terminal and secure growth of the company’s turnover.

For the optimization of technological process MRC purchased 6 mobile rubber-tyred conveyors LK -2512. Conveyors LK-2512 with capacity of 1000 tons per hour and length of 25 meters will be used for the transportation of power generating coal –main cargo of MRC - from the rear part of the terminal to the berths. Conveyors are equipped by system of automatic launch from one control console and system overruling its work in case of emergency which will allow to secure high safety of production process. All in all the company plans to deliver 9 such conveyors.

In order to improve dust suppression system during handling of coal MRC put into operation new mobile dust suppression plant WLP-700T with working range of 70 m.

Within the year MRC performed works on modernization of track infrastructure, started construction of new amenity premises for its employees.

Within the reporting period lease payments for earlier purchased equipment were made.

Main cargo reloaded by the company is export power generating coal. In 2015 the turnover of LLC “MRC” amounted to 4.2 mln tons of cargo.
