Within 9 months of 2014 the turnover of “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” grew by 13%

17 October 2014

Within 9 months of 2014 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) handled 2.9 mln tons which exceeds by 13% the indicators of the same period of the last year.

The growth of handling volumes is caused by stable increase of the demand of the European consumers for power coal handled by the company.

Due to the implementation of the programme on technical re-equipment within which new equipment was put into operation this year MRC also increased speed of handling of railcars. Average day discharge amounted to 154 open-top railcars which is by 14% more than in 2013. Maximum discharge reached the figure of 276 open-top railcars a day. Within the period from January to September 42 038 open-top railcars with coal were discharged at the berths of MRC.

All in all within the reporting period the terminal handled 77 transportation vessels.
