In the 1st half of 2014 “Universal Loading Complex” directed 133.5 mln rbls to the development of port infrastructure

In January-June 2014 “ULC, Ltd.” based in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) appropriated 133.5 mln rbls to the development of port infrastructure.
130.3 mln rbls were spent for the new loading equipment and activities aimed at the increase of the terminal’s capacity. 3.2 mln rbls were directed as lease payments for previously purchased mechanizms.
In the framework of technical renewal programme “ULC” put into operation two manipulator cranes MANTSINEN 120R and two front loaders KOMATSU WA420-3. MANTSINEN cranes with bucket capacity of 5 m3 are used for discharge of coal from railcars. KOMATSU loaders with buckets of 5.5 m3 are used for loading of coal to vehicles which transport cargo around the terminal. Operation of the new equipment will allow the terminal to intensify handling of railcars.
