“Multipurpose Reloading Complex” transferred 1.4 mln rubles for the environmental programmes

Within 9 months of 2014 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) transferred 1.4 mln Rubles for the implementation of the environmental programmes.

In particular, MRC completed works on modernization and technical maintenance of water treatment facilities. Part of the funds was transferred for the implementation of water protection activities, including regular monitoring of quality of water resources and control of use of shore area.

In order to ensure safe handling of production and consumption wastes in MRC monitoring and removal of wastes were performed, places for accumulation of wastes were controlled.  

Reference: LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (included in UCL Port- stevedoring division of the International transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in acceptance, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. In 2013 the turnover of Multipurpose Reloading Complex amounted to 3.5 mln. tons.
