“Universal Loading Complex” directed 917 thousand rbls to implementation of ecological programme

In January-June 2014 “ULC, Ltd.” based in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) appropriated 917 thousand rbls to environmental activities.
Traditionally, the company carried out a number of environmental activities aimed at air and water protection from pollution. They included waste water treatment, control for the use of coastal area, natural water quality monitoring, maintenance and repairs of treatment facilities.
In order to achieve secure waste management, regulatory documentation was developed, places of wastes accumulation were checked and the wastes removed from the area.
