Multipurpose Reloading Complex boosts investments in development
16 November 2018
Allocations of Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) operating at the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) for implementation of its development programme between January and September 2018 totaled RUB 294.2 million, 6 times as much as in the same period of 2017. Considerable growth of allocations is explained by increased expenses of MRC for new equipment.
In the reporting period, the company acquired a full-revolving electrical crane VITYAZ of up to 63 tonnes in capacity, four LIEBHERR LH 40M material handlers of 14 tonnes in capacity, three LIEBHERR L550-series material handlers with capacity of over 11 tonnes and four LIEBHERR GM 20C clamshell buckets with capacity of 2.5 cbm.
From the beginning of the year, MRC upgraded more than 30% of its hoisting and handling equipment that will let facilitate the process of transshipment and ensure safety of works at the births.
Part of MRC allocations are intended for financing of pre-project works aimed at expansion of the terminal’s capacity.
