In 2016 the turnover of Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, part of UCL Holding) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) showed an increase of 7% compared to 2015 and reached 4.5 million tons of cargo.
The dynamics were positive due to the increase in volume of the company’s main cargoflow – exported power coal by 5% up to 4.26 million tons. At the same time MRC increased the export of manganese ore twice up to 245 thousand tons.
The growth was supported by the implementation of technical upgrade programme. The maximum number of semi-wagons handled a day reached 307 units.
