"Multipurpose Reloading Complex renews equipment"

In the framework of equipment modernization programme, Multipurpose Reloading Complex in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) bought 3 wheel-mounted mobile conveyors LK-2512. The new equipment will allow the company to intensify cargo handling and optimize technological process. 

25-meter long conveyors LK-2512 with production capacity 1000 tons per hour will be used for transportation of power generating coal – the main cargo of the company – from the terminal’s rear area to the waterfront. The mechanizms are equipped with automatic start system activated from the single control panel, as well as with the system that blocks operation of the whole chain of conveyors in emergency situation, which provides for high safety.  

All in all, the company is going to buy 9 conveyors of this model. Articulating crane MANTSINEN 120R with 5 m3 bucket capacity will also be delivered to the terminal till the end of this year.

Main cargo reloaded by the company is export power generating coal. In 2014 the turnover of LLC “MRC” amounted to 4 mln. tons of cargo.
