“Multipurpose Reloading Complex” increased financing of environmental programme

5 August 2015

In January-June of 2015 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) transferred 5.2 mln Rubles for the implementation of the environmental campaigns which is 6 times more than during the same period of the last year.

The increase of financing sums was caused by performing of works on expansion of dust suppression system of MRC. The company transferred main part of funds for purchase of mobile dust suppression plant WLP-700T, the use of which allowed to increase environmental safety during handling of coal at the terminal. Plant is a mobile generator of water fog (so called “gun”) which by aerodynamic cone and powerful ventilator creates fog with radius of 70 m.

MRC also traditionally took measures to preserve water resources. In particular, the company regularly monitored quality of natural waters, checked use of coastal area and treatment of waste water.

In order to ensure safe handling of production and consumption wastes MRC performed their regular recording and removal and controlled places of their temporary accumulation.
